im currently playing the a cuetec with the r360 shaft...lovin the natural maple feel....unfortunatly i bent the butt end at the joint ,,,shaft def held up so i figured im going to by the cuetec natural maple stain comes with the 360 shaft with linen grip...nice and plain no inlays....shaft ran me $135 alone im getting the whole stick for $170...what do you think about cuetec....for me thats all i know i was taught by a guy who shot with one so i stuck with it....been also looking at these custom cues from 3rd world countries they look real nice but that might be it...any suggestions?
If you are not in a big hurry to buy a cue now, you should wait till the Super Billiards Expo at Valley Forge (PA) in March. There will be hundreds of vendors and cue manufactures at the show, and you will be able to see and test thousands+ of cues in person. Most of production cues are designed here and made in China now. Some of them carry great quality and value. In any case, I still think you should try outthe cue before buying it (if you are going to play with it).
